FAQ
Here are answers to the questions I’m asked most often about Veggie Blog. I’m Melissa Moreno, and I write this blog from Thailand.
Are the recipes tested?
I share the kind of fresh, natural vegetarian food I cook at home, but please treat every recipe as a starting point. Ingredients, ovens and tastes differ, so adjust amounts and cooking times to suit you. Many posts are listings of cookbooks I find inspiring, and those are not my own recipes.
Can I use your recipes or photos?
You’re welcome to cook the recipes and share a short quote with a link back to the original post. Please don’t copy whole posts or pictures to another site without asking me first. You can reach me through the Contact Us page.
Do you use affiliate links?
Yes. Some of the cookbook links on this blog are Amazon affiliate links. If you buy a book through one of them, the blog may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. These links open the book’s page on Amazon and are marked as affiliate links.
How do I suggest a topic?
I’d love to hear your ideas. Send me a message on X at @PersonalThai with the recipe or topic you’d like to see.
Do you give medical or nutrition advice?
No. I’m not a doctor or a nutrition expert, so you won’t find medical advice here. If you have a health condition, allergy or special dietary need, please speak to a qualified professional.
How can I support the blog?
Reading, sharing a post with a friend and trying a recipe all help. If you’d like to do more, you can leave a small tip through the Buy Me a Coffee button on the Resources page.
