Veggie 101 – Vegetarian and Vegan Defined.
Vegetarians do not eat meat. They plan, arrange and get all their nutrients supplied solely from plant-based foods. Vegans do not consume any animal foods, including dairy. They also do not support any animal products, such as leather shoes or clothing or wear any cosmetics tested on animals.
Vegetarians – no meat, but do consume dairy.
Vegans – no meat, no dairy, and no animal products whatsoever.
